OSU 4 miler!

A week after the marathon, we had signed up to run The Ohio State 4 Miler. This always sells out so we signed up way back in the summer. It sells out fast!

This race raises money for the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer and ends up at the 50 yard line at Ohio Stadium. How cool is that, right? We were going to Uber it down, but decided we would leave early and hopefully beat traffic. They were expecting 15,000 people; that is A LOT less than a game day Saturday. It took us an hour and a half to get off the freeway and park. We got there in time and got in our Corral.
It was a BEAUTIFUL morning so I was looking forward to having a good race! Carl ran with me the first mile then he went ahead. We wanted to see what our legs could do one week post marathon. I felt great the whole race! I ended up finishing only 38 seconds slower than last year. Not too bad considering I ran a marathon exactly a week before :-) I cant wait to run this one again next year!

GO BUCKS!
