We are now in tapering mode where our miles decrease during the week to allow our bodies to heal and rest so we will be fresh on race day. Last Saturday long run was 15 and this weekend is only 12. Only 12! Ha! I must be crazy to think we are only running 12!

Yesterday was one of those days and I had 7 miles on the calendar. I came home, took an hour nap, got up and crushed my run. I can't be sick on race day!
The weather has been awesome and just PERFECT for running! I am appreciating the time I have in the evenings to catch up on laundry and such. Tonight I had 3 miles and it was amazing..I love to put on my shoes and just GO.
Tomorrow is a rest day and then 12 miles on Saturday. I am going to miss our running group on Saturdays.....wonder if we will end up signing up for another marathon just so we can run with the group :-) Stay tuned for more as we get closer to race day!!
