Sunday I ran 11 miles, then Monday I decided to go to the gym. I haven't been in awhile since I have been running so much outside. I just needed a good sweat session; I do love to sweat! I hopped on the stair master ( I love that thing!) and knocked out 168 floors. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel for Tuesday night run group. I was able to get in 7 miles and whoa-my legs were sore but a good sore. My pace Tuesday was 8:57. I use MapMyRide and sometimes the timing is off just a bit, but hey I will take it! I took Wednesday off and Thursday night I did a 6 mile solo run.
Last night the weather turned cold and it was one of those nights where I was ready for bed at 7:45. I was actually in bed ( don't judge me) when Carl talked me into doing a run. I am so glad I did! It was a bit rainy out but I do really enjoy running in the rain. We knocked out 5 miles on a Friday night. I felt so much better afterwards; running really has a way of helping you clear the mind.
Carls dad is in town and we were all hungry when we got home from our run. We heard about a Mexican restaurant down the road from us that a few of our neighbors have been to. We decided to try it out! We have driven past it a million times and never knew it existed. It was very authentic and so cute inside! His dad got the cheese enchiladas, which he said were very spicy. Carl got the veggie burrito and I got the veggie quesadilla. All were very good! We plan on going back for sure.

I am hoping this will be the last snow of the year. I looked at the forecast for next weekend and 70's and sun are in our future..finally!
