Last night was run club so I decided to run to the park again instead of driving. I got in a mile and a half before run club even started. We changed the route up a bit and it still totaled 5 miles. But, since I am competitive against myself, I kept going. I got in 8 miles last night and I felt so good! My pace was 9:02 and I was so happy! The sun was shining and it was just an awesome night. I came home and looked at my log for MapMyRide and saw that so far this year, I had ran 251 miles. What!? I was already a half way to my goal. Now, I am thinking of changing it to 1000 miles for the year. Can I do it?
I was so pumped to be over 250 miles last night that I laced up again and did 6 miles. Tonight's' pace was 9:18. Another motivator is that I am trying to catch up with Carl's mileage..I am not far behind him! I got goals and plan to crush 'em!
